Daegis Acquired By Open Text For $13.5M

Irving, Texas-based Daegis said Thursday afternoon that it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Open Text Corporation, in a deal worth approximately $13.5M. Daegis said Open Text will pay $0.82 per share in cash for the company. Daegis develops software used for data migration, application development, archiving, and more. Daegis said it was advised by MHT MidSpan, L.P. in the deal.
