Dachis Group Launches Business Index

Austin-based Dachis Group, the social business consultancy headed by Jeffrey Dachis and funded by Austin Ventures, said today that it has launched a "Social Business Index", which it says will provide a ranking, analysis, and benchmark of social business adoption. The firm said its index will measure the social performance of businesses by analyzing the social graph of customers, employees, partners, and influencers. The new index will include both a freemium and premium version of the service, based on the amount of analytics provided to users. Pricing on the new product offering was not announced by the firm.
