Dachis Group Buys XPLANE

Austin-based Dachis Group, the software-as-a-service firm backed by Austin Ventures, has acquired XPLANE, an information design consultancy. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Dachis Group, which is headed by former Razorfish CEO Jeffrey Dachis, said that the acquisition of Portland, Oregon-based XPLANE would help continue the growth of the firm. Dachis is backed by more than $50M from Austin Ventures.
