CyrusOne Targets HPC, Seismic Exploration With More Power
Dallas-based colocation provider CyrusOne is hoping to attract more high performance computing--and specifically, seismic exploration data processing--at its Houston West data center campus, the company said today, saying that it now has 31 megawatts of available critical power load capability at the location. The company said it recently added 3MW of power capacity at the location, which it is targeting at high performance computing (HPC). CyrusOne has been looking to attract companies analyzing oil and gas exploration data to the location.
