CyrusOne Snags Rent-A-Center

Dallas-based CyrusOne, which operates data centers and colocation services, has snagged Plano-based Rent-A-Center as a customer, the firm said Wednesday. Rent-A-Center provides rent-to-own electronics, computers, furniture, and other products through a chain of retail stores. CyrusOne said that it will provide high availability, colocation services to Rent-A-Center at one of its Dallas facilities. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. CyrusOne's centers will house Rent-A-Center's IT infrastructure, used for serving its stores.
