CyrusOne Flips On Switch At Phoenix Data Center

Dallas-based CyrusOne has flipped the "on" switch at a new, Phoenix, Arizona data center, saying that it has opened up the new, 120,000 square foot data center in record time. CyrusOne said it only took 107 days to build the data center from the ground up--which it says it believes is the fastest data center construction project built from the ground up in the United States. The company says it plans to ultimately expand its Phoenix II facility to 240,000 square feet. CyrusOne said that data centers of that size typically take three years to build.
