CyrusOne Acquired By Private Equity Firm

CyrusOne, a provider of co-location and data center services, revealed Wednesday that it has been acquired by Boston-based private equity firm ABRY Partners. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, though CyrusOne said Signal Hill Capital Group LLC initiated the transaction and served as advisor. The Houston-based firm added that its existing management team will continue to lead the company. Founded in 2001, CyrusOne specializes in providing co-location and managed hosting and IT services to companies in the energy, financial services and health care sectors. Established in 1989, ABRY Partners invests primarily in media and communications properties.
