CryoPen Gets $2M From Texas Emerging Technology Fund

Corpus Christi, Texas-based CryoPen, which is developing cryosurgery technology for the removal of a variety of skin lesions, has scored $2M in a funding round from the Texas Emerging Technology Fund. According to the South Texas Regional Center for Innovation & Commercialization (STRCIC), CryoPen's technology helps dermatologists, family physicians, pediatricians, general practitioners, and other health care professionals remove skin lesions without specialized equipment, facilities, or training.
