Cortexa Technology Upgrades Home Automation Software
Cortexa Technology Inc. has launched its latest version of home entertainment automation software, the Austin-based company reported Monday. The new software, known as "My Home," expands the homeowner’s ability to control all subsystems and forms of digital entertainment. My Home now supports the Universal Plug and Play protocol, which allows for streaming of music from any UpnP-enabled device or application. Also incorporated into the latest edition of My Home were support for various home audio systems as well as additional HVAC and lighting controls. Cortexa is a privately held company that develops and markets home-control systems for the mass market.
