COPsync Abruptly Fires CEO

Dallas-based COPsync, which develops communications and collaboration tools for the law enforcement community, said this morning that it has dismissed its CEO, Ronald A. Woessner, and "terminated his employment". Reason for the sudden dismissal was not announced. COPsync said the move was made by the board, which also appointed Mr. Philip J. Anderson as its Interim Chief Executive Officer. Anderson is the company's CFO. Woessner remains on the board of the publicly traded company, which is ont he NASDAQ as COYN.
