CopperEgg Ties Into Puppet

Austin-based cloud monitoring software developer CopperEgg, which is now part of Idera, said this week that it has tied its tools into the popular Puppet IT automation software. Puppet is used by IT administrators to automate the provisioning, configuration, patch management, and other aspects of system administration. According to CopperEgg, the link allows its users to monitor their Puppet environments, via a special server collector and probe.
