Convio Reports Results

Austin-based Convio, a privately held developer of software as a service for nonprofits, reported its annual revenues Tursday, saying it had revenues of $57.0M for the year ended December 31, 2008. The firm said that the revenues were a 32 percent increase over 2007 for the company. According to numbers released by Convio, it had a non-GAAP income from its operations of $576,000. It's fairly unusual for privately held firms like Convio to release earning information; Convio had attempted to hold an initial public offering for the firm in 2008, but pulled its IPO in August citing unfavorable market conditions.
