Consolidated Graphics Acquires PBM Graphics

Houston-based commercial printing giant Consolidated Graphics Inc. announced Tuesday that it has acquired PBM Graphics Inc., a commercial printing and packaging company headquartered in Durham, N.C. The purchase price was not disclosed. Founded in 1983, PBM reported revenues of some $135 million in 2007. Among the products the company is responsible for are trading card games, collectible trading cards, and educational and marketing materials. Additionally, Consolidated said PBM is the world's largest printer of Pokémon cards. PBM also maintains more than 500,000 square-feet of floor space for its packaging and fulfillment operations. Consolidated added that Terry L. Pegram, PBM's founder, and the rest of his current management team will continue to lead the company.
