CM First Scores $1.2M In Funding

Austin-based CM First Group, a provider of software and software migration services for helping IT departments maintain and migrate their legacy applications, has raised $1.2M in a funding round, the company announced this morning. The funding was led by the Central Texas Angel Network (CTAN) and also included Lone Rock Technology Group and Capital Factory. CTAN's Clint Whitaker and Lone Rock's Joel Trammel have both joined the company's board with the funding. CM First Group said it will use the funding to accelerate growth of its software tools and services, which are aimed at helping enterprise clients modernize their software code.
