Civitas Learning Finds $16M

Austin-based Civitas Learning said Tuesday that it has raised $16M in a funding round. The funding was led by Rethink Education, and also included Austin Ventures and Emergence Capital. Civitas Learning, which is led by Charles Thornburgh, says it now has nearly 100 employees. Civitas Learning's software is used by college students to identify and track courses they need for their major, and also improve student graduation rates and learning. More information »
