Cirrus Logic Raises Guidance

Austin-based Cirrus Logic, a developer of semiconductor products, said late Monday that it is raising its revenue guidance, as it saw "stronger than previously anticipated demand" for its audio semiconductor products. The firm said it now expects revenues of $55.7M, up from a previous forecast of $48M to $52M. That estimate is up 48 percent sequentially from last quarter. The firm did not provide further detail on what audio products are driving its revenues, but the firm develops analog and other signal processing technology used for consumer electronics products.
