Cinsay Settles Patent Lawsuit

Dallas-based cinSay, a developer of e-commerce related video technology, asid today that it has settled a patent lawsuit against Joyus. Terms of the settlement were confidential. Cinsay had filed a patent suit in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Dallas Division, alleging that Joyus had infringed on its U.S. Patents, Nos. 8,312,486, 8,533,753, and 8,549,555. Those patents cover interactive, Internet-based video applications. Joyus is a San Francisco-based startup focused on video shopping.
