Celanese Buys Nilit Plastics

Dallas-based chemistry and specialty materials firm Celanese announced this morning that it has acquired Nilit Plastics, a division of Nilit which is focused on nylon compounding. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. Celanese said the buy would help it build its position in nylon materials used in automotive, consumer, industrial and other applications.
