Caringo Connects With Symantec Enterprise Vault

Austin-based Caringo said this morning that it has certified its Caringo Swarm, software-defined object storage product, with Symantec's Enterprise Vault 11 software. Symantec's Enterprise Vault is used for content archiving. Caringo said its object storage product is tapping into a storage API provided by Symantec. Caringo's Swarm product is aimed at long term storage of corporate and government data.
