BSG Alliance Lands $20M

Austin, Texas-based BSG Alliance Corporation has raised $20M in a venture capital round, led by Foundation Capital and Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, the firm said today. Powershift Ventures, L.P., also participated in the round. BSG Alliance develops on-demand, hosted software focused on business management. The firm said that the funding will allow it to make targeted acquisitions and to invest in its software. Warren Weiss of Foundation Capital and Mitchell Kertzman of Hummer Winblad will join the firm's board as part of the funding. More information »
