BMC Software Announces Multiple Federal Wins

BMC Software Inc., a Houston-based developer of information technology applications, reported Wednesday that it has won or renewed contracts with several U.S. national civilian agencies. Many of the wins, BMC explained, stemmed from those agencies' need to meet Federal Enterprise Architecture requirements, an Office of Management and Budget initiative designed to create an improved business-based framework. BMC listed more than 20 federal agencies, including the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services, the FBI, FAA, FCC, FEMA, the Library of Congress, NASA, the Education and State departments, Homeland Security and the Environmental Protection Agency.
