BMC Signs Capgemini

BMC Software revealed Wednesday that France-based IT consulting firm Capgemini has adopted BMC's Business Service Management platform. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. BMC, which is headquartered in Houston, said Capgemini has implemented its IT Service Management Suite and its Service Automation solutions. BMC explained its platform helps optimize data center resources, reduce operating costs and streamline IT processes. BMC added that Capgemini will use its IT Service Management Suite to merge multiple service locations across the globe into two central hubs, with one located in Europe, the other in the United States.
