BMC Ships New Batch Management Tool

Houston-based BMC Software is taking on batch IT processes with a new tool, saying today that it has launched a new offering called BMC Batch Impact Manager. The firm said that the software helps to resolve IT bottlenecks in batch environments, particularly for such applications as banks automating fund transfers, manufacturing, and automated payments by retailers to suppliers. The firm said the software helps to identify and remedy problems in batch processes and help administrators to resolve those issues ahead of time.
