BikeTexas Gets Sponsorship From Spinlister

BikeTexas, the local group promoting bicycling in Texas, said Monday that it has just signed up technology startup Spinlister for a two year sponsorship. According to BikeTexas, Spinlister will provide financial resources, production material, and logistical support to help BikeTexas develop a new bike parking and bike valet programs. Spinlister operates an online, peer-to-peer, bicycle rental service which lets users rent out their bicycles, surfboards, or snowboards to others. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. BikeTexas also said it will be listing its fleet of 150 bikes on Spinlister to help raise funding for the organization.
