Bigfoot Networks Gets $8M

Bigfoot Networks, a maker of computer networking cards aimed at the computer gaming market, said Tuesday that it has raised $8M in a Series B. The firm, which recently moved its headquarters from Austin to Silicon Valley, said the funding came from North Bridge Venture Partners, Palomar Ventures, and Raven Venture Partners. The firm still maintains an Austin office, although new CEO Michael Howse is located in Redwood City, California. North Bridge, Palomar, and Raven are all existing investors in the firm.
