Big in Japan Debuts On T-Mobile's Android Phone

Dallas-based Big in Japan, a developer of mobile applications, said today that it has unviled its ShopSavvy comparison shopping application on the new T-Mobile G1 phone. The T-Mobile G1 is the first Google Android-based mobile phone on the market. According to Big in Japan, its software (formerly known as GoCart) will help customers comparison shop by scanning any item's barcode using a built-in camera. The firm's software pulls up prices on the web and elsewhere for the product. Big In Japan recently scored $700,000 in a seed round from Architel for its software.
