Bazaarvoice Bolsters Board With SolarWinds' Bennett

Austin-based Bazaarvoice, which develops ratings and reviews software, said today that it has tapped Michael S. Bennett for its board of directors. Bennett is the former CEO, President, and Chairman of SolarWinds, and headed up the firm during its IPO in May of 2009. Bennet has also previously served at Permeo Technologies, Mission Critical Software--where he also led that firm's IPO in 1999--and was at Austin Ventures and AlterPoint, in addition to holding positions at Learmonth & Burchett Management Systems, Summagraphics, PTXI, Interlan, Dell Computer Corporation and Digital Equipment Corporation.
