Bazaarvoice, ATG Produce eCommerce Solution

Online marketing software firm Bazaarvoice announced Wednesday that it and eCommerce software developer Art Technology Group Inc. are partnering to produce a social commerce application. Known as Commerce Suite, the software now incorporates Bazaarvoice's Web 2.0-based blogging features that give ATG's client's customers the ability to rate and review products and experiences. The new software can be licensed or purchased as a hosted, software-as-a-service solution. Art Technology Group is based in Cambridge, Mass. Bazaarvoice provides software that allows customers to incorporate ratings and review into their e-commerce sites, and is headquartered in Austin, Texas.
