Authors Gets Strategic Funding For AI Tools

Austin-based Authors, a startup developing machine learning and artificial intelligence software for the publishing industry, has raised a round of strategic funding from printing and digital media company LSC Communications. Financial details of the strategic equity investment were not announced. LSC Communications said the funding came along with a definitive reseller agreement with Authors. LSC also said it will use the technology from Authors to offer new services for publishers, including intelligent editorial analysis, automated keyword enhancement and actionable insights.
