AustinStartup Hit By Hosting Snafu

Readers of the popular Austin technology blog AustinStartup might have noticed it had disappeared this week, after a hosting mixup deleted the website. The blog, run by Bryan Menell, disappeared over the weekend due to a hosting snafu with the site at Rackspace. Menell said on the blog that--after some effort--Rackspace is now helping him to recover the site. The site is not yet restored, however, Menell said that Austin's WP-Engine is currently helping him to host the blog. Menell--a serial entrepreneur and active proponent of the Austin startup industry--is currently an exec at Dachis Group, and also sits on the board of the Capital Factory.
