Austin Ventures Plans Hardware Accelerator, Says Report

Austin Ventures is getting into the accelerator game, according to a report this week, and is planning to open up a new, hardware-focused accelerator in a partnership with Battery Ventures and The Valley Fund. The new accelerator is reportedly set to open in Austin with $3M in capital dedicated to funding open hardware startups.
