Austin's Rooster Teeth Acquired By Fullscreen Entertainment

Austin-based creative studio Rooster Teeth, which operates an online comedy and gaming community and brand, has been acquired by online YouTube network Fullscreen Entertainment, the two said this morning. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced by the companies. Rooster Teeth is led by Matt Hullum and Burnie Burns, and was founded in 2003. Fullscreen said that Rooster Teeth will continue operating in Austin as a subsidiary of the company. Hullum remains CEO and Burns as creative director of Rooster Teeth. Fullscreen is owned by Otter Media, a venture between The Chernin Group and AT&T.
