Austin Fire Relief Fund Hits Passes $1500

The effort by the Austin entrepreneurial community to raise those hard hit by the Bastrop wildfires, has now raised $1560, on its way to a goal of $5000 in donations to go directly to the wildfire victims, according to the effort's web site. The ATX Startups Wild Fire Relief Effort was announced last week, in an effort to mobilize Austin's startup community to help Texas wild fire victims. The fund was launched as part of Austin Startup Week, and organized by coworking community Conjunctured, which is located on 7th Street. The effort is also collecting donations to the Capital Area Food Bank at Conjunctured.
