AT&T Rolls Out LTE In Austin

AT&T announced Thursday that it has opened up its 4G, LTE network in Austin, which was among 11 new markets with LTE support from the carrier. Austin joins Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio, which already were live on AT&T's 4G LTE network. AT&T says it now has 26 markets supporting the new wireless standard, which it says is 10x faster than its existing 3G network. AT&T's 4G LTE devices include the HTC Vivid, Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket, LG Nitro HD, HTC Jetstream tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, AT&T USBConnect Momentum 4G, and AT&T Mobile Hotspot Elevate 4G.
