AT&T Offers Up International Roaming Plan For Students
Dallas-based AT&T is targeting students studying abroad with a new wireless plan, saying Thursday that it has launched a new AT&T Study Abroad roaming package designed specifically for students and teacher in study abroad programs. The company said its new packages include a $60/month and $90/month wireless package with different cellular data and voice options for users. The new plan comes after years of horror stories over thousands of dollars in roaming bills when customers from AT&T and other U.S. carriers have used their smartphones overseas.
