AT&T, Carrier Connect HVAC Equipment Via IoT

Dallas-based AT&T and heating and air conditioning equipment manufacturer Carrier said this morning that they are connected commercial, HVAC equipment to the "Internet of Things" with a new offering. The two said they will begin offering up near, real-time data about Carrier commercial HVAC chillers, utilizing AT&T's network. Financial details of the collaboration were not announced. The two said the new network will help provide facility managers with recommendations for service, repairs or system modifications.
