AT&T Backs Cybersecurity Training Effort For Teenagers

Dallas-based AT&T is backing an effort to help educate teenagers on cybersecurity careers and skills, through a series of training camps that are being held this week in California and Colorado, as well as a camp being held in San Antonio in July. AT&T and the Air Force Association (AFA) are hosting a "CyberCamp" which lets teens learn about everything from careers in cyber security, to virtual machines, file protection and monitoring, on both Windows and Linux. The two said the CyberCamp in San Antonio will run from July 24th to 28th, with two camps currently running at AT&T's offices in El Segundo, California and Colorado Springs. AT&T said the camps are part of the AFA's CyberPatriot National Youth Cyber Education Program.
