AT&T Announces Two LTE Smartphones

Dallas-based AT&T said the first two smartphones with support for its new LTE network will roll out next week. AT&T said it is making the HTC Vivid and Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket--both Android phones--available on November 6th, the first AT&T phones which will be AT&T 4G LTE capable. AT&T said its LTE, 4G service launches in Boston, Washington DC, Baltimore, and Athens Ga. that day; the telecom carrier plans to roll it out to a total of 15 markets by the end of the year, including Dallas-Forth Worth, Houston, and San Antonio.
