AT&T Powers New Amazon Fire Smartphone

Dallas-based AT&T is powering the launch of a new smartphone from Amazon.com, the two announced Wednesday, Amazon.com's first move into the smartphone market. According to Amazon.com, its new Amazon Fire Phone will only be available exclusively with AT&T, and will cost between $199 to $649, depending on specific AT&T wireless plan selected by consumers. Amazon is also bundling a year of Amazon Prime access with its phone, which features one-handed navigation, image recognition features, as well as immersive apps.
