Asure Software Ties With Software Firm

Austin-based Asure Software, which develops software for tracking time and attendance for users, has tied with a software firm which uses photos and GPS technology to help track timecards. Asure said it had linked with FotoBunch, which develops mobile phone products which use facial recognition and GPS technology to let employees use cell phones to punch the clock. FotoPunch says its facial recognition and GPS software lets users punch in and out using any mobile device. Financial details of the private label licensing deal were not announced.
