Aristos Ventures Backs Armorway

Dallas-based Aristos Ventures is one of the backers of Armorway, a startup developing artificial intelligence-based data analytics and security software. According to Aristos Ventures, the investment is the seventh investment from its debut fund. Armorway raised $2.5M in the seed funding, which came from Aristos Ventures, along with angel investors. Armorway, which is based in Los Angeles, California, previously had received funding from University of Southern California grants from the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Defense and U.S. Army Research Office. Armorway uses deep machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) software to help deal with a range of security threats, including both physical and cybersecurity threats. More information »
