AppRiver Sets Up Shop In Austin

AppRiver, a provider of cloud-based, subscription email messaging and web security software, said yesterday that it is opening up an office in Austin. The company said it plans to hire at least a dozen people at a new location at the Austin Oaks Whitney Buildling. AppRiver is based in Gulf Breeze, Florida. The company provides spam and virus filtering, Web protection, secure email hosting, email encryption, tracking and control, archiving, compliance, and other email services.
