Amazon's Jeff Bezos Sends Rocket To Space From West Texas

Jeff Bezos, the founder and CEO of Amazon.com, has sent his first rocket into space from West Texas. Blue Origin, the commercial rocket startup backed by Bezos, said that it sent a rocket into space and back on Monday, in its first test launch to space. Blue Origin launched its New Shepard space vehicle to a planned test altitude of 329,839 feet (100.5 kilometers) before landing its reusable rocket back at its launch site in West Texas.
