AlterPoint Gets EMC Certification

Austin, Texas-based AlterPoint, a provider of network management software, said today that EMC has certified the firm's DeviceAuthority software under EMC's "Designed for EMC Smarts" program. AlterPoint has met EMC's criteria for software design for its product, which is used to monitor network compliance, security, change and inventory. The firm's software monitors real-time changes across network hardware devices in large enterprise networks.
