Altair Semiconductor Gets Funding From SanDisk
Altair Semiconductor, a developer of LTE chipsets which has its U.S. headquarters in Plano, has scored an investment from SanDisk, the two said Wednesday. Size of the investment was not disclosed. SanDisk said the investment came via SanDisk Ventures. Altair Semiconductor is based in Israel, and develops single mode LTE chipsets used in tablets, netbooks, USB dongles, portable hotspots, routers and modems, and many other devices.
