Alpheus Sells Dark Fiber To Fidelity Communications

Houston-based metro fiber and networking provider Alpheus Communications reported this morning that it has completed a dark-fiber sale to Fidelity Communications, which will provider Dallas-to-Memphis transport capability to the telecommunications provider. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Alpheus said that Fidelity will use its fiber for its voice, data, and video services. Fidelity provides more than 60,000 business and residential customers in five states with telecom services.
