Alert Logic Adds Former Sophos CEO To Board

Houston-based cybersecurity provider Alert Logic said Tuesday that it has added the former CEO of Sophos, Steve Munford, to its board of directors. Munford served as CEO of Sophos from 2006 to 2012, in addition to other executive positions at Sophos, and also had served at ActiveState, before it was acquired by Sophos in 2003. Alert Logic is a provider of security annd compliance services, aimed at traditional, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure. The company is owned by private equity investor Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe.
