AirStrip Technologies Gets European Certification

San Antonio-based AirStrip Technologies, a developer of mobile medical applications, said Tuesday that it has scored CE Mark certification, which is required for distributing its product in the European Community. The certification covers its AirStrip OB, AirStrip CARDIOLOGY, and AirStrip PATIENT MONITORING products, which allow medical professionals to access vitals of patients via a wireless link. AirStrip's products allow access to both live and historical monitoring of waveforms, ECGs, and other data on such devices as the Apple iPhone. The company is backed by venture capital firm Sequoia Capital.
