AirStrip Partnership Aims At Maternal, Fetal Care

San Antonio-based mobile healthcare applications provider AirStrip said this morning that it has partnered with a provider of clinical decision support-based obstetrics (OB), PeriGen, to help add new support for monitoring high risk pregnancies. Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed. AirStrip said it will integrate PeriGen's clinical decision support-based obstetrics (OB) technology--including technology to assess and interpret fetal heart rate patterns--into its AirStrip ONE product. AirStrip has been bolstering its capabilities in that area since it acquired Sense4Baby, a wireless fetal/material monitoring system developer, in March.
