AirStrip Bolsters Board

San Antonio-based mobile health products developer AirStrip has bolstered its board of directors this morning, saying that it has added Bill Miller, the CEO of OptumInsight, to its board. Miller has also previously served at Cerner Corporation, and according to AirStrip also has served as CEO for three technology companies he founded or co-founded through the 1990's. OptumInsight is a division of Optum, which is part of UnitedHealthGroup. AirStrip is venture backed by Sequoia Capital, Qualcomm, Inc., Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) and the Wellcome Trust, and develops mobile health monitoring systems for the healthcare industry.
